The legendary Iggy Pop-fronted band The Stooges have announced details of their new studio album, their first in 33 years.
The trio are joined by ex-Minutemen and fIREHOSE bassist Mike Watt and original Stooges saxophone player Steve Mackay.

The band wrote over 30 songs for 'The Weirdness' in Florida earlier this year and worked with legendary engineer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, PJ Harvey) on the album.
