T-Rock's Take: Inside the Jets

What most of you are forgetting is that Firemen Ed has been going to almost every game for the last x number of years? Yes, when Browning Nagle was a starter, yes, when Rick Mirer was a starter and yes, when Kotite was head coach. He was there when the stadium was empty and the Jets were miserable, and he was there when the Jets were in the playoffs, getting the fans to go CRAZY.

This guy is a Jet's ICON and should be paid for his extreme loyalty. More than can be said for the typical fans who only go to games when the Jets have a chance..

..
Fireman Ed should be paid.

He's done so much for the JETS, he's done more for those affected by 9/11 and burn victims...

The fact that people say he should go baffles me.
If we were all like Fireman Ed, the world would be better off..

.

Tom,
Any hope of seeing more Rashad Moore this week? Please tell me he is at least practicing with the first teamers.

The run defense looked a lot better with him in the game. He was actually occupying..

. dare I say it - TWO GUYS! Perhaps we can send Robertson to the 49ers to get our 4th rounder back!

(PS - Keep the blog going...

great job!)

What's with all the Cimini bashing? You're one of his peers, is he just an unlikeable guy?

the problems mangini inherited from herman, bradway and tannenbaum left him with a tremendous handicap when he came in. it was like the rookie headcoach was given a car that had been totaled and asked to drive it.
he clearly has the knowledge of how to drive the car (unlike herman) and he knows what parts he needs to get it going again-- but he's still stuck with two mechanics (bradway and tannenbaum) in the repairshop.

bradway doesn't know a fender from a muffler and tannenbaum's is an apprentice (maybe he once built a model airplane or fixed a flat on his bicycle). The owner of the garage (woody) better hire the right mechanics or mangini will die trying to drive an expensive car that will remain dangerous, if not inoperable.

Appreciate the inactive list before the game, Tom, hope it's a regular feature here.

Does Zach Hilton get involved this week? I liked that pick-up!
