The Macy rsquo;s Parade-on-Parade, a traveling roadshow of memorabilia from the annual New York City event, will arrive on City Hall Plaza on Nov. 19 with clowns, costumed characters, local celebrities and a band.
Two 18-wheelers packed with a 3-D wall of parade history, a mini theater and models of the giant helium balloons will be open free to visitors from noon to 5 p.

m. A 25-foot inflatable Grover will preside over the festivities.

Interactive events will include a balloon flight school and a giant parade puzzle.

One trailer will unfold into a musical stage for a 20-minute ldquo;Ballooniversity rdquo; musical revue, a comic look at how the parade balloons are created.

Macy rsquo;s employees will make up attendees as parade clowns, float escorts or balloon handlers, and take their photos in front of an interactive screen. Visitors also can get their photos taken as parade ldquo;cohosts rdquo; in a simulated NBC broadcast booth.
