Originally it was reported that 15 bats were removed Wednesday for testing, but the number from school officials was an overestimate.
School officials sealed off one-fourth of the school's classrooms Wednesday after removing bats that had taken up residence there.
School was held today, but the sealed-off section will not reopen until at least next week.

Zach Jones, who died earlier this year after a rabid bat infected him at his Atascocita-area home, was a student at the school.
Although Jones, 16, was not infected at the school, Humble school spokeswoman Karen Collier said his death played a role in the administration's decision to temporarily close 25 classrooms.
"Obviously, parents are not just sensitive but hyper-sensitive," Collier said.

School administrators posted a letter to parents Wednesday on the district's Web site to inform them about the bats and the steps they are taking to get rid of them.
"We are doing everything we can to take care of this unusual problem while keeping our students' routines as normal as possible," stated the letter, co-signed by principals Raul Font and Penne Liefer.
The school, which is undergoing a $35.

7 million renovation, has about 1,500 juniors and seniors in the affected building.
Officials closed 25 classrooms, which will remain off-limits to students until officials rid the area of any remaining bats, Collier said. The classes have been moved to other empty rooms in the building.
