National Gallery. Mostly a lot of racket, I thought, but then again a=20
major thrust behind Dada was a revolt against reason, the alleged=20
cause of trench warfare in the Great War.
I also saw the film there,=20
separately from the music, but there pretty obviously was no real=20
connection between the two. The film was a jumble of images. What was=20
offbeat, and a principled rejection of reason, back then has become=20
mainstream, and an unprincipled, casual rejection of reason, on MTV!
