That's the refrain being sung by Cedric the Entertainer, who is developing a big-screen biopic to star in based on the life of entertainment legend Louis Armstrong. "In a lot of ways, Louie was one of the first true pop stars in a period of time when he also had to cross a lot of barriers," Cedric says. "[At] the same time, he had this jovial, happy way about him.

" Cedric wants to star in a film that addresses the times and the music. "Louis Armstrong fought being considered an Uncle Tom in his own group and opened doors and said, 'You can do this,' " Cedric says. "You will also find out that he was one tough guy.

"Imagine being an orphan on the streets of New Orleans. That's where Louie got his inner spirit," he says. "He also chose to have a good time and have the music come out of him in that way.

" As for the music, Cedric says, "I can play a trumpet. In fact, I played trumpet in high school. But it's a very tough instrument.

You really have to practice it." Cedric told GLARE, "I'm talking to Wynton Marsalis to play the horn for the film. To do Louie, we need an accomplished trumpet player.

" Meanwhile, Cedric lends his pipes to the current "Charlotte's Web" and will also star in "Code Name: The Cleaner" in January. Big Picture News Inc.
