Waits fans are rejoicing at the release of this sprawling,
54-track collection of odds and ends from across the acclaimed writer's career.
The set has been promoted as a collection of out-takes, rarities and re-recordings, but the songs have been carefully divided between three discs to ensure the listener isn't too bewildered.
The three discs together provide a near-perfect summation of Waits' career, from his tender jazz crooning, to hobo-shuffle and bar-room blues on the first two discs.
The third disc has just about everything other genre Waits has explored over his career as well as some new material.
It is this disc that reveals Waits at his most bizarre, with spoken-word pieces and odd covers, including a particularly frightening version of Heigh-Ho from Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
