org. Civil War Living History Weekend: Cameron Art Museum, 3201 S. 17th St.

, presents the 142nd anniversary of Battle of Forks Road Feb. 24 and 25. The reenactment takes place on museum grounds, the original battlefield of the final fight for Wilmington.

Activities include military and civilian reenactors, living history exhibits and encampments showcasing daily life in the late 1800s, small arms and artillery demonstrations, demonstrations by artists working in traditional crafts of the era, speakers and lectures. Battle of Moores Creek Bridge Anniversary: The 231st anniversary of the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge will be held 9 a.m.-5 p.
