Motorists who park correctly at Auckland's Christmas in the Park at the Domain tomorrow night will be rewarded.
More than 150,000 people are expected at the event and the Auckland City Council will leave candy canes and thank you cards on the windscreens of cars which are parked in the appropriate places.
Event manager John Searle says the entertainment is different and more exciting than last year, with everything from Frankie Stevens to Pluto.

He hopes the rain forecast for tomorrow clears, but adds it would take a heavy downpour for the event to be postponed.
