Federal investigators said Gorby photographed the boy more than 30 times between 2000 and 2005, beginning when the child was 5 years old. Investigators said Gorby collected more than 600 pictures of the victim, as well as other images of child pornography downloaded from the Internet. Gorby faces state charges for the molestations.
As part of the federal sentence, U.S. District Judge William Skretny said Gorby must undergo electronic monitoring using Global Positioning Satellites, or GPS, for life upon his release from prison.
Several states have statutes requiring such monitoring for high-risk offenders. GPS can track the location of the offenders at all times.
