Spacious, dog-friendly apartment available! The layout: Entry hall with normal sized closet; big living room with exposed brick chimney (which apparently will be nice and toasty in the winter); fair-sized kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, oven/stove; Bathroom with good water pressure, new shower head; small hall with huge closet.

Room #1: I am currently in this room, but if you want to switch, we can discuss it. This is a huge room with a closet. Room #2: This is a normal-sized room with a closet.

It also connects to a sun-room, which I never go in. Basically, you could have both of these rooms to yourself, or the one big room. The sunroom could work well either as an office or a practice room, or maybe a guest room.

It has doors into both Room #1 and #2 only, which is why it can't be a room for another roommate, unless we don't mind someone just walking through our room whenever going to and from their own (see my badly-drawn floorplan). There is also a storage closet downstairs with a combination lock, a place to put your trash, and a couple washers and dryers. The room is unfurnished; the apartment is largely furnished, but in december the ex-roommate will be taking most of the furniture back (but that gives us time to find stuff, or if you already have stuff, that'd work too).

Rent Utilities: First and last + half security deposit. Hot water is included (and it doesn't run out halfway through a long shower), heat supposedly can get up to $100/mo in the winter, cable and internet is currently $81/mo, and I have a wireless router. Electric is quite cheap as well.

These things will be split fairly (if you don't have a computer, you don't have to pay for internet). Your roommate: Me. A 24 year old straight male graduate student at BU, with two jobs and a small relaxed dog.

I'm a nice guy. Likes: music, dead languages, going to group exercise classes, bringing my dog everywhere. You: Whomever!

Fe/male, with/without a dog or cat (my dog and I have lived with all sorts, harmoniously), whatever orientation. Just be friendly and pay the rent on time and I'll be happy. The area: we're very near the B-line (allston st.

stop) on Commonwealth, Harvard Ave., Whole Foods, Brookline Liquor. We also have a neighborhood watch (a couple old guys who sit on the steps all day a couple buildings over).

This is one of the nicer buildings in the area, and probably the nicest apartment in the building. The landlord is nice and helpful, and is usually outside on Sunday making sure the walkway is clean. * More about me: I'd really like to live with someone I will get along with, so here's some info about me: I'm pretty liberal.

I'm open-minded. I like Battlestar Galactica and Nip/Tuck. I like Bettie Page.

Some music I may listen to loudly: Radiohead, Tori Amos, Nick Cave the Bad Seeds, Cub, Eels, Pixies, NIN. I buy beer/hard liquor and happily share it. My shower schedule is mornings at around 6:30, so if that works with your schedule, great!

I'll get along with you best if you are not heavily into organized religion, or at least do not try to convert me. Also, if I order a pizza instead of cooking the abundance of healthy food I have in the cupboard, please refrain from looking at me in a reproachful manner. * Bottom line, this is a very nice, big apartment.

I don't personally need as much space as there is here, even with a roommate, but this is the place that said my dog was ok. Also, I don't feel like I'm going to get mugged, which is a plus. Thanks for looking!
