Diwali Weekend

Pretty dull long weekend, this one. Bangalore was practically deserted as most of the floating population floated away to their respective native places . I forgot to book tickets well in advance and was forced to stay back in Bangalore.

Last year, I was in a similar position but helped me out and I spent the Diwali with them. This year all I did was stay at home and catch up with my sleep and reading. Finished reading David Vise s The Google Story during this weekend.

Also did some minor Diwali shopping, namely 3-CD set of vintage Bob Dylan ( Definitive Collection ), and A 2-DVD combo of A Few Good Men and Jerry Maguire and a simple white Polo T-shirt from Wrangler.
Saw again, followed by Sam Raimi s Darkman (with Liam Neeson as the lead actor) and also Amadeus Milos Forman s splendid tale about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri.
Diwali and Eid greetings.
