The Bonnaroo Music Festival could rake in the dough for Coffee County for years to come. The annual concert gives tens of thousands of dollars to local charities and features prominent rock groups in one of the most unlikely places.
Event organizers told Manchester officials that they plan to buy the 700 acre farm where thousands of people come every year for a weekend of music.
One economic analyst said taxes on the land may increase substantially if the farm is used for other events during the year. Early bird tickets went on sale for next year rsquo;s event earlier this month.
