London, England (AHN) - Christmas time is meant to be a happy and festive season spent with family. But with all of the woes Madonna has had this year, the holiday is shaping up to be a sour one between her and husband Guy Ritchie.
According to reports, the couple are currently disagreeing about the prospect of extending their family.

Since they adopted a toddler, David, from Malawi, and been involved in a chaotic media storm, the stars have been unable to see eye to eye on their future.
John Ritchie, the British filmmaker's father, says that Madonna's eagerness to adopt again and quickly is causing much tension in the household.
He told Britain's Grazia magazine, "They've had a difficult time, (David) is beautiful and Guy is very good with him.

But I don't think he'd want to (adopt again). They were both under an unbelievable amount of pressure because of all the press surrounding (David's) adoption. It has caused tension and been deeply upsetting.

Madonna as admitted that she would like to welcome an adoptive brother or sister for David, who already has two siblings in the singer's biological children Lourdes and Rocco.
However, a source says, "Madonna wants to get things moving. If she makes up her mind about something wild horses can't stop her.

But Guy wants them to get used to what they already have. It's a big issue between them."
With an adoption that has already caused a public outcry, the "Hung Up" singers stubbornness has angered experts who say that bringing two children into a house quickly can be confusing for the older child.
