As part of a nine-week event, which has already begun and culminates on the GRAMMY Awards telecast, The Recording Academy will work with CBS and Yahoo! Music to conduct a nationwide audition with musicians uploading user-generated performance video to Yahoo! Music.

The top 12 artists will be determined by a GRAMMY Blue Ribbon Panel, with the public voting to narrow the field and eventually select the winner. Users may log on directly to CBS.com or to Yahoo!
