Though not nominated, Blink-182 will help launch the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards festivities by performing live at the ceremony's lead-in show, "Opening Act," along with Smash Mouth. Prior to the band's rehearsals for the pre-show, MTV News caught up with Blink-182 guitarist and vocalist Tom Delonge, who talked about sensual nature of the group's new single, "All the Small Things," and the boy-band mockery of its accompanying video. Delonge explained to MTV News.
