OASIS guitarist and lead songwriter Noel Gallagher is set to make a rare appearance to speak with Australian fans in Melbourne tonight.
Gallagher will appear at Melbourne rsquo;s exclusive MySpace.com Black Carpet screening of the band rsquo;s promotional movie, Lord Don rsquo;t Slow Me Down.
Lord Don rsquo;t Slow Me Down features footage from the band rsquo;s Don rsquo;t Believe The Truth tour last year and includes highlights from the Australian shows.
Filmed to commemorate the band's first ever best-of release Stop The Clocks, the documentary will not have a cinematic release, so this is the only chance for Australian audiences to go behind the scenes with one of the world rsquo;s biggest bands on the big screen.
Led by Noel and Liam Gallagher, Oasis is one of the most successful and prominent English music groups to emerge during the lsquo;90s Brit-Pop era.
With over 60 million in album sales and eight UK number-one singles, Oasis can be deemed as one of England rsquo;s most pivotal bands.
