It was said from their myspace page that the Light Grenades album was produced by renowned producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, Rage Against The Machine, STP) and was highly anticipated. The new album rocks harder with lifting ballads songs.
Incubus released their first single, "Anna-Molly", through Sony on September 20 for one day.
The song debuted at #19 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and its current peak position is #2, as it continues to gain airplay.
Inside Light Grenades:
"Anna-Molly", obviously gained over 2,462,400 stream plays on their myspace page and it rock harder. This song has much guitar riffs from beginning to end.
The song is about a woman who suffers from a not being able to react in the existing surrounding. On the Anna-Molly music video, The girl was able to recover in the morgue right before the criminologist cuts her.
"Dig", a little slower but i love the lyrics of this song.
The high pitch vocals never gone far from its melodic concept. Probably, this song will top the charts soon.
"Light Grenades", shows more passion of Incubus.
The decades that has been successful still make a good impression. I like the beat in this song. Watch out for this live play, i know this would really rock your world.

"Quicksand", the first track on the album and has a unique approach in terms of guitar style and vocals.
"Love Hurts" is not as good as the other songs on the album do.
I can relate on the how the lyrics go though.
