Coldplay develop new HQ

October 20, 2006 Coldplay have splashed out millions of pounds on a mansion - to convert it into their official headquarters.
The British group - Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Will Champion and Jonny Buckland - are determined to stay close to their families while they record the follow-up to 2005's worldwide hit album X Y and have decided to spend a fortune converting a building in Hampstead, London, into their base, complete with state-of-the-art recording studios and offices.
