Opposable Thumbs: I need Ang Lee on my Wii right now

I ve seen a lot of Miis pop up on my Wii, and I ve seen a ton of celebrity Mii videos and how-tos on the Internet. I found it fun and oddly calming to just sit down and design a few and I never even got into the Sims! I haven t seen much Mii news that has gotten me excited, but via comes this .

There is someone out there who designed an Akira Kurosawa Mii, and that fact is delightful. The Quentin Tarantino Mii is also strangely awesome. I m consistently surprised by how closely you can get these little guys to look like actual people with the limited options the system gives you.

I wish they had included instructions on how to make these yourself, but I ve found I could figure most of them out once I had the picture. If you have any funny looking Miis, why don t you share em? There is a lot of creativity out there, and I m hoping that the Mii functionality is going to be expanded so we can get even cooler looking Miis.

The girlfriend and I popped into a store last week. I was hoping to let her play Wii sports for a minute..

but alas, it wasn't loaded into the console. Instead we messed around making little Mii clones of each other for nearly 45 minutes. We had a blast.

As we were walking out the door, she said, "I want one of those." Sometimes simple things can be very fun.

I'm with you TonyCr.

When I took my Wii to Thanksgiving dinner at a friends house we all made Mii's for ourselves before we played Wii Sports. I think that people had about as much fun making their Mii's as they did playing the games. I'm gonna have to try making some of these people.

Just so they can watch me play tennis.

I was amazed how much my Mii ended up looking like me when I was done. I'm not surprised people have been able to really nail famous people with Miis.

forget sketch artists...

police stations are going to have Wii consoles for people to create Miis of criminal suspects!

A little more control over details would be nice. Age especially.

It's kind of hard to make people look their age. Some people are easy to duplicate, others, not so much. I'd love to see updates that add more options and unique additions like piercings, mohawks, etc.

Top Spin on the Xbox was good for that too. My roommates and I managed to make Mr. Miyagi and David Hasselhoff.

They were a badass doubles team. Curly hair! There is no way to make a curly haired Mii.

I think I really want one. Made a Mii for me and my wife. I wonder what she thinks.

How long before I can see random Miis show up?

I've had mine since Sunday and set it up to wander, but I still don't have any for a parade. Frown

My wife made a Scott Baio mii, he is the star center fielder for her wii sports baseball team.

He has caught sooooo many of my pop-flys. He is in charge of that outfield.
