Auckland choreographer Shona McCullagh's short film BREAK has won the Dance Films Association 35th Dance On Camera Festival in the United States.
The jury includes Elizabeth Zimmer, senior editor at the Village Voice. The festival, co-produced by the Film Society of Lincoln Centre, will screen from January 3-14 in New York and will tour throughout the US.
BREAK was runner-up in the Reeldance Festival in Australia and has been bought by ABC television in Australia.
