NEW YORK, December 08, 2006, --- Longstanding bicoastal commercial music house has opened a spin-off Latin music company, . Producing from studios in New York and Los Angeles--and with staffers on both coasts and in Chicago--the new venture will focus on creating and producing multicultural music for advertising, TV and film projects under the aegis of creative director/lead composer Andres Levin, a noted producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
The Grammy-nominated Levin, band leader of the Latin-fusion group Yerba Buena, has produced for such artists as Tina Turner, Macy Gray, Paulina Rubio and Miguel Bose. Levin's musical sound has also made its way into film and television, featured in such primetime shows as ER, Entourage and Third Watch, as well as scores for the features El Cantante (the Jennifer Lopez/Marc Anthony bio pic of Latin Music legend Hector Lavoe) and the upcoming Lions Gate true crime thriller Borderland. Other members of the Avenida Acceso ensemble include: composer Jose Espinosa of the Grammy-winning Latin, hip-hop group Ozomatli and currently touring with Salvador Santana; composer Bernardo Targett, who has worked with producer legends Richard Dashut (Fleetwood Mac), Nick DiDia (Stone Temple Pilots) and Randy Jackson (Journey); company general manager Janie Reyes; and head of sales and production Analia Garcia.
Avenida Acceso has been created to offer advertising agencies, television networks, and film producers a wide array of musicality from around the world that both blends and bonds many cultures and diverse musical styles. The new shop brings major music and composing talents from Latin/urban music together with some 26 years of Elias Arts' experience in innovative music, high quality production values, and branding/audio identity. Martin Pazzani, CEO of Elias Arts Holdings, said, "Avenida Acceso has been created because Latin media is one of the fastest growing and most exciting segments in the business, and there is a building demand for commercial music that reflects the diversity and blending of styles in today's Latin/urban music.
