My sister just sent me this great idea for a post...

I have no idea where she got it, but it's FANTASTIC! Thanks Christen!!

Before you think I'm insane for some of my choices, let me explain the rules...

you're supposed to pull up your music library and hit Shuffle...

with each new question, you hit forward to get "your song." (No cheating and hitting forward till you get a song you like!)

Some of them were right on the money.

..which is a little bit creepy.

Some were WAY off...

uh, check out my wedding song...

I don't think so! As you can see, my thoughts are included for some of the selections..

.

You should try it out..

.it's a lot of fun! You'll be surprised how true they can be.

..

If my life were a movie, this would be it's soundtrack.

..

Opening:
"Please Forgive Me" White Ladder
David Gray
Interesting choice.

..given my Catholic upbringing.

..

Waking Up:
"Only Hope" The Best of Mandy Moore
Mandy Moore

First Day at School:
"Extraordinary Machine" Extraordinary Machine
Fiona Apple

Falling in Love:
"Elephant Love Medley" Moulin Rouge Soundtrack
Ewan McGregor, Nicole Kidman
I LOVE that this is my falling in love song.

..so appropriate!

Fight Song:
"Comptine D'Un Autre Ete" ("Counting rhyme Of Another Summer") Amelie Soundtrack
Yann Tiersen

Breaking Up Song:
"My Heart Belongs to Daddy" Sophie Milman
Sophie Milman
A little weird, but I have always been a Daddy's Girl

Prom:
"Sentimental Journey" The Very Best of Julie London
Julie London

Life:
"Show Stopper" Danity Kane
Danity Kane
SO FUNNY!!!

But let's face it, I am a bit of a Drama Queen ...

one who always enjoyed being the center of attention. So I guess it makes sense that my Life Song is Showstopper.

Mental Breakdown:
"I'm a Believer" The Best of the Monkees
The Monkees
I'm not sure why, but I like this as my Mental Breakdown Song.

: ) Gives me hope.

Driving:
"Dreamgirl" Stand Up
Dave Matthews Band

Flashback:
"Babylon II" White Ladder
David Gray
So fitting for a flashback:
Situations running through my head
Well looking back through time
You know it's clear that I've been blind
I've been a fool
To ever open up my heart
To all that jealousy, that bitterness, that ridicule

Getting Back Together:
"Perfect" Restless
Sara Evans

Wedding Day:
"Boys" Britney
Britney Spears
Seriously, WHAT??

?

Birth of a Child:
"Summertime" Renee Olstead
Renee Olstead
I like..

.
Summertime,
And the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin'
And the cotton is high
Your daddy's rich
And your mamma's good lookin'
So hush little baby
Don't you cry

Final Battle:
"A Little More You" The Road to Here
Little Big Town

Death Scene:
"Are You Happy Now?" Hotel Paper
Michelle Branch
Ouch.

..this sounds harsh, like someone is way too happy that I'm kicking the bucket!

Funeral Scene:
"The Four Seasons - Winter" Peaceful Classics
Antonio Vivaldi
PERFECTION!

End Credits:
"Jill" Red Light Blue Light
Harry Connick, Jr.
This song is a nice ending to a good life.

..

I know a girl
Who says she loves me
She says she needs me
And I have reason to believe her
Good reason

Like when we kiss
My eyes won`t open
My heart won`t listen
And I don`t have a word to say
No, not a word

Look, my darling
And you`ll hear me sing "I love you"
With my eyes
Let me hold you
Really hold you
Then you`ll know my heart

Just can`t tell lies
It knows a true love
It knows it`s you, love
And it knows that you say
You love me
And I say I love you, too
