One of the highlights of Christmastime in New York City every year are the Holiday/Christmas store windows. As someone who used to do windows in another life, I always look forward to my strolls to enjoy the holiday windows.
Some of the best windows in town are usually found at Macys, Bloomingdales and of course Barneys.
And in keeping with the holiday celebrations this month Bloomingdales is serving up windows celebrating the celebrations of the season - Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanzaa.
If you don t have a chance to make it into town this season you can still enjoy the seasonal displays by stopping by the Holiday Window section at the WNBC.com (the local affiliate of NBC) website.
Now you too can take a stroll through the streets of Manhattan and check out the holiday windows from Macys, Lord and Taylor, Saks 5th Avenue, Herni Bendel, Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys and Bloomies.
