Leona Lewis has been earmarked as the 1.28 favorite to win the X Factor finale (that's equivalent to 2/7 odds). Not a bad value considering she has been the big favorite since Day 1 and she's widely anticipated to win.

Ray Quinn is the 5/2 dog and slipped into the final, upsetting Ben Mills. It was widely believed prior to Mills eviction that he and Leona would go head to head in the final competition.
The only person we can compare Leona to is Kelly Clarkson, a true star, William Hill's Rupert Adams told the BBC.

Leona is by far the best X Factor contestant in three years of the show and we wouldn't dream of taking bets on her achieving at least five number ones in 2007.
Leona Louise Lewis[6] (born 1985) grew up in North London listening to her father's record collection. She says I loved listening to Minnie Ripperton and Anita Baker, plus 80s big vocalists Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Oleta Adams and more recently Eva Cassidy, and at the age of six I decided to be a singer .

Her favourite album is Thriller. Leona wrote her first song at the age of 12, and attended the Sylvia Young stage school and the Brit Academy. Her audition performances for The X Factor were Over the Rainbow (originally performed by Judy Garland and the song that made a name for Katharine McPhee on American Idol's 5th Season), I Have Nothing (Whitney Houston), Hero (Mariah Carey) and Without You (Badfinger).

In a testament to how popular Lewis has become, reports have surfaced that her name was recently cybersquatted and is being touted on eBay.
