The Chicago-based WPA Film Library has a new searchable on-line listing of its exclusive music performance footage with over 6,500 unique performances. The music database is designed to acquaint clients with WPA's music holdings and to enable researchers to search quickly for specific songs artists. WPA represents over a dozen classic music/variety shows with iconic rock 'n' roll, pop, country, R and B and soul performances from stars such as Johnny Cash June Carter Cash, The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, James Brown, Loretta Lynn, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Tito Puente, Etta James, Mel Tillis, Dolly Parton, Sly the Family Stone, Dusty Springfield, and The Supremes.
