For those who are knitting for charity this holiday season, I'd like to call your attention to a worthy cause in Lawrence, MA. Lazarus House, a shelter and food pantry, is collecting items for their holiday giving tree. Donated items will be given to residents of the shelter.

Among the things requested are scarfs, hats, socks, sweaters, and gloves for all sizes.
For more information about the collection, visit . The dealine is December 18th.

I would really encourage anyone who is looking to contribute to charity this season to consider Lazarus House. The ministry took a serious blow in the floods earlier this year, and they are still trying to get their feet back on the ground.
My church is allowing members to drop off items until the 17th.

I plan to bring a few knit things of my own and would be glad to transport anything that anyone might want to contribute between now and then. No Comments for this post yet..
