For the stay-at-home types, this is a big week because it s the unofficial start of awards season on TV.
The American Music Awards will go live Tuesday on ABC with Gwen Stefani doing her new single, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Black Eyed Peas and others playing.
Tuesday is also a major retail day for the music industry types.

Among the new options is the first Chris Daughtry album, the new Jay-Z, a greatest hits set from U2 and a huge boxed set from Tom Waits.
On Wednesday, the movie business opens The Fountain, Deck the Halls, For Your Consideration, Fur, Deja Vu and Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny. Bobby follows on Thursday.
