The Hot Issue : Will Iraqi forces be able to take full control of security in the country in the next 18 months?

Oct 25, 2006 10:25 am There is nothing that will stop a civil war in Iraq. The US is responsible for it and now amount of postering by the W administration will stop it. It was not the place of the US to go in and "take over" another country because we did not like their leader.

Saddam clearly was not a good man, but there are those that have the same thoughts over our President. It appears most of the "yes" votes are clear partisans who would support W no matter what. How many days, months, years has it been since W declared 'mission accomplished"?

If what we want is not delivered in under three minutes, it's a complete failure. Look people, the restructuring of an entire nation is going to take time. It's not something that can be done in 18 months or even five years.

This kind of thing takes many, many years. Remember, women now have the fundamental right to vote in Iraq. People in general have the right to protest America being there.

First, we must not turn American policy decisions over to the leftist surrender monkeys of the Democrat Party. And second, the Iraqi government must remove Muqtada Al Sadr (the most dangerous man in the world, in my opinion) from the political scene.
