Johannesburg - Listed South African IT group Datatec on Monday said it expects to report headline earnings per share of between 15 US cents and 16 US cents for its half-year compared to 12 US cents in 2005.
Earnings per share for the six months ended August 31 are expected to be between 15 US cents and 16 US cents compared to 10 US cents previously.
The group said in a trading statement that it had a strong overall financial performance during the six months to August 31 improving on previously reported interim results.
"This was driven by strong increases in revenues, improved margins and tightly controlled operating costs," it said.
