Three-time Super Bowl champ Emmitt Smith and partner Cheryl Burke may have won the cheesy disco ball trophy Wednesday on Dancing With the Stars, but Lisa de Moraes of the Washington Post wrote that the best moment of the last show was when Sara Evans returned and sang These Boots Were Made for Walking. Evans abruptly left the show when she filed for divorce, claiming her husband had cheated on her with the nanny, among other things.
Smith and Burke beat out Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff.

Smith called Lopez a true gentleman, while Lopez graciously said, This whole journey was unbelievable and called Karina the most unbelievable person.
The final competition show Tuesday drew 27 million viewers, more than any other non-sports show this season and approaching the 32 million the final American Idol drew in May.

says Masi Oka will keep his recurring role as Franklyn on Scrubs when it returns Nov. 30, even though he has become a star on Heroes as Hiro. But there will be a catch: Franklyn will occasionally show off Hiro s powers.


Oka, who is also still a part-time consultant for Industrial Light Magic, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette about his new fame.
So far it seems like the target demo (that finds Hiro appealing) is women 50 and over and 13 and under, he said. The other day, these three cute girls come up to me and said, Can we take our picture with you?

And then they said, You re my boyfriend s favorite character! So this is my life. Nothing has changed, except people want to take their picture with me now.

I feel like Goofy from Disneyland. But I think it s funny.
