launched his debut fashion collection in LA last night. Set up with his childhood friend Trace Ayala last year, the William Rast label was the talk of tinsel town as Timberlake's girlfriend Cameron Diaz, Eve, Paris and Nicky Hilton and Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Demsey sat front row to take in the show, dubbed Street Sexy. Deciding against showing in the usual LA Fashion Week space, Smashbox Studios, Timberlake chose the trendy Social Hollywood nightclub as the venue, with half of it transformed into a catwalk and the other half given over to a glitzy after-party at which he performed.
Ayala and 25-year-old Timberlake, who reportedly spent months putting together a soundtrack for the show which included Rebel Rebel by David Bowie as well as tracks from Prince and Jay-Z, named William Rast after their grandfathers who apparently had a huge influence on both their lives.
