A bank, dealership, or other lender can hire a repo man, or repossession company, to take back, or repossess, your vehicle almost anywhere. One major rule they cannot break is breaking into any premise. If a vehicle is in a closed garage, a repo man cannot enter it to repossess your vehicle.
If however, the garage is open, many states allow repossession agents to enter the garage and repo the car, truck, or other vehicle.
