NEW YORK, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Three major U.S.
record companies are pursuing Jimmy Rosemond, the manager of rapper The Game, to become one of their key executives, a report says.
Rosemond, who also serves as the head of Czar Entertainment, has become the focus of Warner Brothers, Virgin and Sony s search for a new head of their individual urban music divisions, SOHH.com reported.
In addition to heading up The Game s successful musical career, Rosemond has been guiding the career paths of many of the rapper s peers, such as Shyne, Brandy, Trillville, Rick Ross and Too Short.
SOHH.com said that Rosemond s top client has remained the Grammy award winner, whose real name is Jayceon Terell Taylor, and the two are set to release their most recent endeavor together when The Game s sophomore album, "Doctor s Advocate," hits stores on Tuesday.
