Green Day's first two albums will be re-released on Reprise Records on December 19. Kerplunk! and 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours were originally released on Lookout!
Records, which went out of business last year, after the band over unpaid royalties. Billboard reports that while Kerplunk! will not feature any bonus materials, 1,039 will be the expanded edition released by Lookout!
in 2004.
Influential Hip-Hop station WQHT "Hot 97"/New York is throwing a free concert as a thank you to its listeners later this month. Headlined by Ludacris, the show will also feature Chris Brown, Akon, Saigon and Ukon and be held at the Nokia Theater in Times Square on Thursday, November 30.
Tickets are only available through the station. Army Of Anyone will celebrate the November 14 release of their self-titled CD with a series of television appearances.
