Noise Pop 15 Announced

October 25, 2006 - San Francisco's premier independent music festival, Noise Pop, will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary come February 2007. NP15 will take place from February 27th through March 4th, 2007, at a variety of San Francisco's top live music venues.

Hi-liting the festival will be the "reunion" of seminal indie rockers Sebadoh (that's right, the original line-up of Lou Barlow, Eric Gaffney, and Jason Loewenstein will be performing). Also confirmed as of press time are John Vanderslice, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, and Jolie Holland. Naturally, more artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

While best known for bringing a diverse array of modern pop music to the City-by-the-Bay, Noise Pop 2007 will unveil the 1st Annual Noise Pop Expo. This two-day event will take place on March 3rd and 4th and feature panel discussions about the music industry. As always, the Noise Pop Film Festival and Pop Art Exhibition will be running concurrently to the music portion of the festival, allowing festival attendees to check out music oriented films and view classic rock art in the bargain.
