Posted on: Friday, 6 October 2006, 12:00 CDT The space shuttle Atlantis sustaining a small hole when it collided with a small space rock while returning from its mission, NASA officials in Washington said.
The tiny meteoroid hit a radiator panel, not the shuttle's protective thermal panels and tiles, The New York Times said Friday. National Aeronautic and Space Administration officials said neither the crew nor the mission in September were in danger.
