Democrats Take Majority in House; Pelosi Poised to Become Speaker - The New Editor

OK, at the risk of redundancy, here was my call back in October.

Let's see what happens. I checked #2 off already. If 40 of the 50 come to pass, just call me Nostradamus!

1 Impeachment of President Bush. Preparations have already begun in Dem caucuses.
3 Federal legalization of gay marraige.

4 Iraq withdrawal, immediate. Breakup into 3 countries, Kurdistan, Shias under Iranian control and Sunnis under al Qaeda control.
5 Abandonment of Afghanistan; the rationale being 'Afghanistan is all drug warlords, really anti US' etc etc.

Taliban/al Qaida re-takeover.
6 Pressure on Israel to give up West Bank with a Palestinian capital in Jerusalem. Palestinian 'right-of-return' implemented under Dem peace plan.

Refusal to allow/support Israel to take out Iranian nuclear weapons.
7 Total al Qaeda takeover of Somalia.
9 Repeal of the Patriot Act.

10 No wiretaps on foreign calls to US.
12 At least one major terrorist attack of 9/11 magnitude, in the continental USA, 1000's dead and injured once terrorism is recriminalized.
13 No or little US retaliation for 12!

14 Rejection of any further Bush judicial nominations.
16 North Korean nuclear tests and continued long range missle tests.
17 Direct negotiations with Iran and N.

Korea with no results.
20 Wide range of medical, educational and Social Security benefits for illegals.
22 No windfarms in Nantucket.

23 Major new environmental restrictions.
24 No ANWAR and or other oil exploration/drilling.
25 The 'Fairness Doctrine' will be reinstituted to restrict talk radio and prevent the 'reconquista' of power from democrats!

Democrats/liberals will do whatever it takes to prevent losing the House or the Senate ever again!
26 National Security. Guantanamo will be closed and most of the prisoners released.

27 The Guantanamo prisoners not freed will be given lawyers and trials.
28 Slavery reparations to begin, paid to all individuals of at least 1/8 black origin including prisoners and felons.
29 Affirmative action programs mandated to the point of actual racial quotas in colleges, gov't and private employment.

With mandatory enforceable requirements!
30 Federally funded abortion to any and all on request.
32 Parental notification requirement outlawed as a requirement.

No age minimums.
34 Circumvention of the Electoral College a la California proposal giving a state's electoral votes to the national vote count winner. A major building block to consolidate perpetual power by focusing elections on East and West coast populations.

35 Major 'Poverty programs' and education spending increases especially in teacher's salaries with continued US Education's dismal performance.
36 Enormous tax increases beyond mere repeal of Bush's tax cuts. Highest rates beyond 60% for high incomes.

Increases across all tax types; income, dividends, capital gains, corporate, etc. Essentially punishment for the 'rich' for the Bush cuts.
37 Death tax increases with much lower or no exemption $$$ amount.

38 National war vs. Wal-Mart in conjunction with Unions. Forced unionization of Wal-Mart.

39 Major reductions in military spending and readiness. Missle defense spending eliminated.
40 Federal strict gun control laws to the point of confiscation.

Federal laws restricting hunting severely nationwide.
41 'Children's Rights'. I.

E. age of consent reduction to 12 -14 as per NAMBLA.
42 Communist Cuba opening, relations, aid, trade.

..supposedly to outflank Chavez.

43 Greater support for UN, more $$$$, cooperation and transfer of soveriegnty. Rebuilding of the UN Building. John Bolton replaced by extremely liberal Dem hack.

44 Trial lawyers vs. McDonalds, Burger King etc a la tobacco suits based on 'obesity'. Major $$$ payouts forced on fast food retailers.

Anti-obesity legislation penalties against overweight individuals as with smokers. Hi taxes on certain foods. Weight tax?

The rationale will be to keep health care costs down.
45 GOD removed from the Pledge of Allegiance, coins, bills etc.
46 Major loosening of voting ID and registration requirements.

47 Major increase in private property 'takings' via the Kelo decision to increase local gov't income and ultimately for liberal purposes. Extension beyond real estate to other personal property for the 'common good'.
48 Continued dependence on foreign oil due to lack of exploration and high gas prices due to lack of refinery capacity.

49 Enhancement and federalization of 'hate crime' laws. Strong enforcement and broader definition of 'hate speech' laws. Creation of 'intolerance' legislation.

50 Euthanasia? Keep those health care costs down! Its for the 'common good'.
