Jack renames The Girlie Show to TGS with Tracy Jordan, much to star Jenna Maroney s chagrin. The writers room can t agree on how they feel about Tracy s ideas for new characters or his body of work . Liz can t ably manage to keep the writers, Tracy, or a glum Jenna happy about the changes.
Tracy doesn t want any of the show s staffers to look him in the eye.
Tracy and Liz decide to smooth over the rough edges by hosting a swank cocktail party on Tracy s yacht. Tracy is the perfect host, plying writers and performers alike with their favorite drinks while doing impressions, until the cops show up.
Because as anyone, even a three year old could, could have figured out by now, the yacht? Is not Tracy s. But this is the man who bit Dakota Fanning on the face!
Anything is possible with Tracy. The morning after Liz admits that she s no fan of managing people though Jack praises her handling of the situation. It also helps that the yacht s owners can be bought with rides on the network jet if they promise not to sue or talk to the press.
In other news: Jenna has a problem falling in love with gay guys. Just like me! Much like Simon and Tom on Studio 60, Liz is an obvious target for any eavesdropper, Jack speaks what sounds like flawless German, and NBC focus groups can be easily swayed with New York-style pizza.
