Bighorn Basin radio listeners will no doubt miss the dulcet tones of Thom Huge after he steps down Nov. 5 as . Thom will be joining the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce as the director of the .


I ll certainly miss him. And though it s not like he s riding off into the sunset, he won t be at press conferences, city council meetings and the other regular news events around town any more.
And his sharp, insightful sense of humor will also be sorely missed from the morning radio news and chat shows.

Let s face it, Speak Your Piece host Tom Morrison does a great job, but do you really want to endure what callers have to say without Thom s thinly veiled wisecracks?
Here s hoping he ll continue to engage in his theater of the mind activities with Chris Turner s Comfort Food show.
In the meantime, if anyone has any bright ideas for a new BHRN news director, send them my way.
