Egyptian coach Mohsen Saleh is set to be appointed coach of the national team of Yemen. "I am flying to Sanaa on Saturday to sign a one-year contract," Saleh said. The former Egypt international will receive a monthly salary of US$20,000.

His first task is to guide the Yemeni national team at the Gulf Cup, which will be hosted by the United Arab of Emirates in January. Mohsen was sacked as the coach of Libya last month after just six months in the job.
