LONDON Oasis, the Arctic Monkeys, U2 and 1980s icon Boy George picked up honors at the Q Awards for music on Monday.
Oasis were named "best act in the world today," while Arctic Monkeys won the people's choice award and best album honors for "Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not." Readers of Q magazine chose the honorees. Irish rockers U2 got the "Q award of awards" and The Who received the "legend award.- Music Bands
