Keith Urban, country singer, has checked into a rehab centre, with his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, by his side.
According to The Associated Press, the singer is seeking treatment for alcohol dependency at a US rehabilitation centre.
Urban released a statement, through his representative, saying: I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me.
One can never let one's guard down on recovery and I'm afraid that I have, he said.
With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome.
Urban and Kidman married in June of this year in Sydney.
