Congratulations to the Democratic party for winning the House and the Senate yesterday (as well as the governor's races, the state legislatures, the Missouri stem-cell research vote, the minimum wage law votes, the abortion ban vote in South Dakota, and yeah, basically everything). But I promise this will be the last political post for a while. And if the Dems screw up nearly as badly as Bush did these past six years, you'll hear about it here.
I'm an equal opportunity hater and up until 2 years ago was buying all of Bush's bullshit. But this blog has maybe gotten too political and serious of late (at least according to Switsky, but he whines a lot so he's not the best of sources), so I'll try to lighten things up in due time. For now, though, I just got back from class and it's late and I've had a crazy busy week, so you're just getting some new music mp3's instead.
Enjoy.
Oh, and go Rutgers tomorrow night. F Louisville.
- Mogwai has released a new soundtrack to a movie called , which is about the French soccer star Zidane who head-butted the Italian in the World Cup Finals. That's all I know about it, but here's a couple brand new Mogwai tracks.
- And here's a few assorted tracks that have made my top 10 of this week.
Like I said, it's late. I've got nothing else to add. These are just great songs by a bunch of different bands.

- This is the latest track from the new group involving Spencer Krug (Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown) and Dan Bejar (Destroyer) and it's been in my Top 10 for 2 solid months.
I absolutely love this song. The debut album from Swan Lake, , is available November 21st. And that is definitely a good thing.
