All of the trusts were rated excellent, good, fair or weak in the key areas of patient care and use of resources.
Only three other organisations in the region were rated as providing excellent services to patients -City of Sunderland Hospitals, Durham and Chester-le-Street PCT and Durham Dales PCT.
Two-thirds of trusts were rated as providing a good level of patient services.
No North-East trust was rated as weak in that area, but about half of all organisations were given a weak rating for their use of resources.
Apart from Harrogate and York, which was rated as good for patient services and fair for use of resources, the picture across North Yorkshire was disappointing, with most PCTs and the Scarborugh hospital trust only rated as providing fair patient services, with a weak use of resources.
Among the NHS organisations rated as weak on the financial aspect was the South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs the James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, and the Friarage Hospital, in Northallerton.
However, South Tees was rated as providing good services to patients, despite struggling with debts of 21m.
North Tees and Hartlepool Hospitals trust was another organisation seen as providing good services, but with a weak use of resources.
Trusts given a good rating in both categories included the Newcastle Hospitals trust, County Durham and Darlington Acute Hospitals trust, Northumbria Healthcare trust, Gateshead Health trust and Easington PCT.
The health check is the new system for assessing and rating NHS healthcare organisations in England.
It is intended to give the public a more detailed insight into how NHS organisations are doing.
It replaces a star rating system.
Many of the trusts assessed this year will close next year because of boundary changes and mergers.
