This year's Lincoln Showcase, an event full of food, spirits and music, will be held in Beermann Plaza in downtown Lincoln on September 30th.
The annual event will feature restaurants, wineries and breweries who will serve samplings of their fare from 5:30 p.m.
to 9 p.m., and dancing from 7:30 p.
m. to 10 p.m.
with music by "Mercy Me."
The Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Showcase as its major fundraising activity and invites the community to attend.
"This will be our fifth Showcase, and we hope to welcome close to 1,000 guests to this fun event," said Chamber President Mark Luster.
Tickets for the Saturday event are on sale now at the Lincoln Chamber. The event will feature such restaurants as Buonarroti Ristoranti, Austin's Steak House and Thai Basil.
