(RTTNews) - Thursday Capital Alliance Income Trust Ltd. ( | | | ), announced results of the shareholder meting. Approximately 56% (325,754 shares) of the total eligible voting shares participated in the election The proposal to "Liquidate and Dissolve" CAIT failed.

The "Liquidate and Dissolve" proposal received approximately 33% (91,068 shares) of the voted shares. The proposal to "Restructure Management from an Externally Advised REIT to a Self Advised REIT" received approximately 90% (294,076 shares) of the voted shares and passed. The proposal to "Renew the Existing Management Agreement and Continue External Management" received approximately 30% (96,836 shares) of the voted shares and failed.

The proposal to "Restructure Management" appoints Richard Wrensen to the additional positions of President and Chief Executive Officer. CAIT also reported that incumbent Directors, Thomas Swartz and Harvey Blomberg were elected and that Rothstein, Kass Company LLP was appointed as the independent auditor for the year ended December 31, 2006.
