Lyricist SIR TIM RICE is keen to work with composer SIR ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER again, providing the pair's new material doesn't damage their legacy. The pair fell out after collaborating on smash musical EVITA in 1978, after Rice described Lloyd Webber's next project CATS, which set the poetry of TS ELIOT to music, a wacky idea . However, in September (06) Rice and Lloyd Webber teamed up for the first time in a decade to pen a tune for British reality TV star CONNIE FISHER, and Rice says a further reunion is possible if the pair can come up with the right material.
He hints, We might well do something together. I always said there was a danger that if it wasn't any good it would make people say, 'Oh, we always knew they weren't any good, the others were all crap, too.' Rice and Lloyd Webber are responsible for some of Broadway and the West End's biggest musicals, like JOSEPH and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.
