ORWELL - Country Neighbor Program Inc. has scheduled a trip to the Ashtabula County Cov-ered Bridge Festival in Jefferson on Saturday.
Area residents interested in taking advantage of transportation to and from the event should register with Country Neighbor as soon as possible. The cost of the trip will be $7.50 and will include the admission to the festival.
Departure from Country Neighbor's Orwell site will be at 9 a.m. While at the festival, participants can enjoy the parade, crafts, a petting zoo, musical programs, historical displays, antique tractors and more.
For an additional cost, a Jolly Trolley will take visitors on a tour of four bridges and return them to the fairgrounds. Stops will be at the bridges on Doyle, Giddings, Netcher and South Denmark Roads.

The trip is open to all area residents of all ages but seats are limited.
