Rock, Punk and Blues To Benefit The Rochester Opera House
Three area bands have donated their time and talent to help raise money for the Rochester Opera House. Friday, October 20 at 7:00pm join us for an exciting, rocking evening with The Lydia Warren Band, Lourds and The Joe Mazzari Band. The opening act for the evening is The Lydia Warren Band, fresh off their first Mid-West tour.
Backed by bassist Matt Malikowski and drummer Warren Grant, Lydia?s soulful voice and her bands tight rhythm section brought the house to their feet during last years Blues Fest. They are sure to again be a crowd-pleaser.
Direct from NYC, Lourds is described by Billboard Magazine as being ?all fire and brimstone? in their latest review of their current 12 track, self-titled CD.
The bands namesake, Lourds Lane, plays both violin and amplified fiddle, and performed at Carnegie Hall at the age of 6. Backed by a 3 piece power rock, punk band and Lourds? passionate vocals it won?
t be long before Lourds becomes a household name. Our evenings headliner is The Joe Mazzari Band. If you like guitar-driven, take-no-prisoners, thumb-your-nose-at-authority rock roll, then you'll be right at home with Joe and the band.
Backed by Carl Howard on drums and Jeremy Leavis on bass they are currently roaming the East Coast performing material off their latest release "Long Live the King."
